Overview


Our Bachelor in Management programme aims to train front-line managers or project managers with a mastery of management fundamentals, digital techniques and entrepreneurial values.

The first two years of the Bachelor's programme constitute a generalist core curriculum based on a 360° vision of management sciences.
The third year of the bachelor's degree allows :


to specialise in key company professions in the fields of "Luxury management", "Digital marketing & commercial management" and "Business development".
or to obtain a double degree with one of our partner universities
During the course of their studies, students must spend a period of time abroad as part of an internship in the 1st or 2nd year, or as part of an academic exchange in the 3rd year.
Each student benefits from personalised support throughout the course of their studies in order to develop their professional project through coaching, soft skills courses, etc.


The curriculum can be followed in French or in English (English Track)*.


* For students with a good level of English (no need to be bilingual at the beginning).

A PROGRAM IN 3 YEARS

The 3-year course is divided into 6 semesters, 5 of which are dedicated to academic teaching and the last one is devoted to an experience in a company via an internship at the end of the course. It awards a total of 180 ECTS credits and each student follows 975 hours of courses over 5 semesters.

The course takes place on the EDC campus in Paris La Défense. Students also have access to all the Paris campuses of the EDC Group (Paris La Villette and Paris 7ème).


ENTREPRENEURSHIP COACHING


Our students have a course on entrepreneurship and we offer them the opportunity to access the Student Entrepreneur Program (SEP). This program consists of accompanying students in their entrepreneurial approach at all stages of their project. It is divided into 3 stages:



The IDEAS" EEP for those who intend to become entrepreneurs, who have ideas but also many questions.

The "PROJECT" EEP for those who have identified a business opportunity and wish to enter the reflection phase to make their first decisions.

The "COMPANY" EEP for those who are in the decision and action phase.

ADMISSIONS

FROM 1ST YEAR TO 3RD YEAR
CANDIDATE PROFILEFor international students with a diploma equivalent to the baccalaureate or with 60 or 120 ECTS credits from an institution recognised by the official authorities of the country where it is located.

Content of the file :
Transcripts (last two years),Copy of diplomas obtained,Letter of motivation and two letters of recommendation,A valid test of French as a foreign language for candidates who have not attended a French-speaking school.
For successful candidates, the evaluation continues with two oral tests:
1st oral test (duration 30 minutes) - motivation & suitability for the training objectives2nd oral test (duration 30 minutes) - English MCQ

​Post-baccalaureate admission on application and motivational interview, part of which will take place partly in English (non-eliminatory).

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE

During the academic curriculum, students are assessed in various ways:


- Exams are specific to the teaching cycle: during the 1st cycle, exams (MCQ, knowledge tests, and application exercises) are mainly aimed at assessing the acquisition of knowledge. Thereafter, students are evaluated mainly through case studies, role-plays and project presentations.- A written report is required after every internship in view of demonstrating the acquisition of skills.

 

More generally, we use the following six levels of cognitive skills to assess our students:

- Understanding: quizzes, matching exercises, etc.

- Recognizing/Knowing: quizzes, matching exercises, etc.

- Applying : (practical exercises, simulations, etc.)

- Analyzing : (problem solving, case studies, etc.)

- Evaluating : (case studies, reviews etc.)

- Creating: (projects etc.)

Professors award bonus points for active participation, in class or on-line, when students contribute to a discussion forum.
